  Friday, June 30, 2006 Butterfly Conservatory, key west This live butterfly on Mandi's hat are among the hundreds of butterflies and finches that are allowed to fly and roam about at Key West's Butterfly Conservatory. On Friday, Mandi and I did the Duval walk from one end of the island to the other. When we got to the southern end we noticed the Conservatory and had always wanted to check it out. Our trip this year was great as always... although we went for an extra day and found it to be too much. You can only shop and drink so much! This time around we stayed at the Pilot House - incredible location and a great guesthouse... I'm pretty sure that this will be our destination of choice for the future. Oh yeah, for everybody up north, tomorrow have a great Canada Day! |
