Fishing Pier, sunshine skyway bridge, florida

This photo was taken during sunset on the Sunshine Skyway Fishing Pier. The fishing pier is made from the East and West remnants of the old Sunshine Skyway Bridge which was destroyed back in 1980 when a tanker ship collided with one of its columns.

Today, the Sunshine Skyway is widely recognized as one of the most impressive bridges in the world, connecting St. Petersburg to Bradenton. It is also well known for the 200 or more "jumpers" that try and commit suicide each year. Most succeed. If hitting the water's surface at 200mph doesn't kill you, usually the plunge is too deep for the jumper to resurface in time before drowning.

Some Web Finds:
Laura Bussman - Go give my girl Laura some love and take a peek at her brand new web site. The site has some great glamour photography featuring this up-and-coming Tampa model. Plus, I get credited in her bio and some of the photos in her gallery were taken by me.
Build A Better Bush - Make the President look like an assclown, by changing the appearance of his hair, eyes and mouth. As for acting and speaking like an assclown, he's got it covered.
Clublife: A Bouncer's Blog - An online journal of the nightly nonsense endured by a bouncer at two of New York's most popular nightclubs.
