  Thursday, Sept 15, 2005 Everything's Not Lost, saint john, nb Blaming a lead singer with a severe respiratory infection, popular Brit-pop band Coldplay postponed Wednesday night's show at Ford Amphitheatre just a few hours before show time. "The band is attempting to reschedule the performance on a date to be announced," read a statement from Clear Channel, owners of Ford Amphitheatre in Tampa. "Fans are urged to hold onto their tickets as the existing tickets will be honored for the rescheduled performance." Boo Frickin' Hoo... after waiting months for this concert it was cancelled. Luckily, we found out about the cancellation five minutes before I was about to leave work and pick Mandi up so that we could sit in traffic for an hour and a half as we made our way to the other side of Tampa to get to the amphitheatre... only to find out there's no show. The shitty part is that our schedule may be screwed up for any possible make-up date with Mandi's vacation home in a couple of weeks... as well as the upcoming NHL season. For now, we wait.
